Adopt a cat
We are open every day between 11am & 3pm, except for Wednesdays when we are closed to the public. If you wish to adopt a cat please try and arrive at least 30 minutes before we close to allow you enough time to meet the cats, and for us to begin the adoption process.
Once you have chosen your new cat we will reserve them for you and fill in a Homing Questionnaire so we can begin our homing procedure. This doesn’t take too long and is so that we can find out a bit more about your home to ensure that we are making the right decisions for the cats in our care. It’s also a great opportunity for us to share some important details with you about your chosen cat and cat welfare in general. On occasion we may need to undertake a home visit.
After this process we will then arrange an appointment for you collect your cat. Because we have so many cats waiting to come into the Centre we are only able to keep a cat reserved for you for seven days.
All of the cats in our care have been vet checked, treated for fleas and worms, started a course of vaccinations, been microchipped, come with 4 weeks free pet insurance and have been neutered if over 4 months old. (Please note that if you wish to adopt one of our kittens under 4 months old it will be your responsibility, and is a condition of adoption, that you pay for it to be neutered when it reaches an appropriate age).
We do ask for an Adoption Fee of £60 per cat. This fee is to help cover the cost of looking after the cats in our care, and when you consider how much we do for each cat represents excellent value for money. If you wish to add an extra donation on top of this fee it would be most gratefully received!
Below are some of the cats in our care, waiting to meet you and eagerly looking for new homes. Please feel free to call us on 01904 760356 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you require further details.
Some of the cats in our care may not yet be on our website. If you are looking for a feline companion, please contact us on 01904 760356
